Wildseed Cafe’s Truffle Mayonnaise Curly Fries steer away from the usual shoestring fries. Curly fries are made flavourful with a drizzle of truffle mayo, along with parmesan and spring onion. #18 PS. Cafe

We can’t really talk about truffle fries in Singapore without bringing up PS. Cafe, since they were the ones who started off the trend here. The Truffle Shoestring Fries is the star here and they come in incredibly generous portions. However, the standard can vary across different outlets. At best they’re crisp and aromatic, but sometimes they can be not crisp enough, or lack the truffle aroma. At worst, they’re lacking both.

#19 Revelry

Revelry is known for its sweet and savoury waffles, but their Truffle Fries deserve a shout-out. They are double fried for extra crispness, and seem to be slightly thinner than the average shoestring fries. You can tell that they are very, very generous with their truffle oil! Some may find it a tad too oily, but personally, we’re big fans! Topped with a generous shaving of parmesan, we wiped the plate clean in no time.
