Ice Lab has been around since 2015 and it won’t disappoint with its wide range of bingsu flavours. All their bingsu come in two sizes – single and large – so don’t worry if you have a small appetite! An authentic Korean dessert cafe, O'ma Spoon serves a finely shaved, snow-like Bingsu made purely from premium milk with various toppings. If you like the traditional Injeolmi bingsu, this is probably one of the best in Singapore. The towering bowl is dusted in soybean powder and features almond and rice cakes similar in texture to muah chee. It also comes with a side of condensed milk as a sweetener. Every element of the dish complements each other, from the smoothly shaved iced milk to the light soybean powder that flavours every bite!

Helmed by an ex-aesthetician and her sister, the stall sells fusion Korean-Taiwanese bingsu.  What’s unique about them is that they use flavoured ice blocks to enhance the shaved ice’s flavour, and they also make their own taro cubes featured in Green Monster, one of their more popular flavours. Try their unique Siltarae Bingsu which comes in three flavours – matcha, chocolate, and banana – and doesn’t look like anything you’ll see in Singapore! Unlike the usual mountain of shaved ice, this one looks like a pile of silk threads instead. Aside from the Siltarae Bingsu, you’ll also find the more common type of bingsu in flavours such as Oreo, Injeolmi, Strawberry, and Melon.

A halal-certified bistro along Rangoon Road, this cafe stands out thanks to its fusion of Korean-Western cuisine. Sweet tooths should not miss decadent options such as Oreo Cookie Pleasure and Triple Chocolate Fantasy, but those feeling more adventurous should try locally inspired creations like Chendol Pak’ Dol, which comes with fresh jackfruit and gula melaka, or the Duri Durian which features real durian paste and coconut ice cream. Chicken Up may specialise in Korean fried chicken, but their bingsu looks spectacular as well. The Watermelon Bingsu is piled high with shaved ice, ice cream, red bean and fruit, served in a watermelon husk. They also have a Melon Bingsu along with other flavours like Matcha. Although it’s a Thai cafe, Wan Wan Thai Cafe has some of the finest Korean bingsu in town. Think milk tea coated in biscuit crumbs and whipped cream, strawberry and banana with mango ice cream and oreo topped with vanilla ice cream, cookie crumbs and chocolate sauce! Their unique, Thai-inspired flavours like the Coconut Bingsu Sago Bingsu are also worth trying if you’re looking for a change. Get your bingsu fix such as the reliable Injeolmi Bingsu which is topped with rice cakes, sweet soybean powder, sliced almonds and condensed milk.
