#2 Covet Coffee

Tucked away in the neighbourhood area of Bishan is Covet Coffee, where you can get your caffeine fix. The cafe has two kinds of coffee beans available: a single origin of Costa Rica and a 3-beans blend of Colombia, Costa Rica and Ethiopia. Enjoy espresso-based drinks, filter coffee, tea latte and chocolate. While the cafe doesn’t have a food menu, it does have pastries such as Kouign Amann and Almond Croissant in case you need a light bite!

#3 Kings Cart Coffee

Kings Cart Coffee has come a long way since their beginnings as a mobile coffee cart. Today they have two outlets in Singapore, including one in Bishan. Located in Bishan Public Library, you can fuel up during your study sessions with specialty coffee such as Long Black, Mocha, Macchiato and more. There’s also a small selection of food if you’re feeling peckish, such as Creamy Mushroom Pasta, Egg & Sausage Wrap, Buttermilk Hotcakes, and Ham & Cheese Croissant.

#4 The Living Room Cafe

A simple cafe set within Zion Bishan Bible-Presbyterian Church, the warm and welcoming space serves up hot meals, coffee and desserts. There are lots of great reviews for their dishes such as Chicken Pot Pie, Fish & Chips, Prawn Aglio Olio and Thai Basil Pork Pasta. Now located at Junction 8, GRUB is a casual neighbourhood bistro offering hearty bites. Don’t miss their popular favorites like Har Cheong Gai Waffles, Miso-Glazed Salmon Soba, Steak & Chinchalok and more. They also serve some of the best burnt cheesecake around, with options such as the Kaya Burnt Cheesecake that  has notes of coconut and pandan.
