#21 Selera

Established in 1965, Selerav has a long history and dishes out some of the spiciest curry puffs in town, making it a must-try for spice fiends. Loyal fans swear that this is the best curry puff in Singapore and the high turnover means you always get it nice and hot with a flaky, buttery crust and spicy, sweat-inducing curry inside. Selera is also popular for their goreng pisang, and it’s worth giving them a try too!

#24 Old Chang Kee

From East to West, these curry puffs taste the same no matter where you go. They’re consistent in flavour, which is perhaps why Old Chang Kee is many people’s go-to curry puff. The pastry is buttery and baked to perfection, however if we could change one thing, it could probably do with more filling.

#25 Polar Puffs and Cakes

Polar's curry puff stands out for being an affordable staple done right. The flaky pastry of Polar’s puffs is crispy and buttery and best enjoyed while it’s still hot. While the filling is fragrant with the right mix of spices, it is more of a mix of mushy chicken and potato rather than chunky ones that you get out there.
