Opened in July 1972, this food centre consisted of 60 stalls, which led to its popular moniker of “六十档” (Sixty stalls). Redeveloped to form today’s Taman Jurong Market and Food Centre in 2005, this food centre still has the old school appeal and affordability of its heydays.
