#1 Crystal Cafe
A cheap porridge buffet in town is definitely something we can get behind. Come here for the old-timey charm, and traditional dishes. We highly recommend the braised pork belly, pig trotters and chicken curry, but you should really try to get everything if you can. At $18.80++ per adult on weekdays and $20.80++ on weekends, it’s a pretty good deal and Crystal Cafe remains a popular spot for Teochew porridge buffet in Singapore.
#2 Goodwood Park Hotel
Best known for its Taiwan Teochew porridge, the Coffee Lounge offers tasty local fare and buffets at Goodwood Park Hotel. At $42++ per adult it’s definitely not the cheapest Teochew porridge, but you can most certainly expect above average dishes as well as some special options such as black pomfret, sesame chicken with yellow wine, wok-fried prawns and more. It’s especially worth it when the hotel is running a promotion!

We wouldn’t be surprised if you’re not familiar with The ART. Also known as The Assumption Restaurant for Training, the training restaurant helps to transform and empower students who are unable to access or complete mainstream secondary school education. Every last Friday of the month a porridge buffet is available from just $12 nett! Not only is it easy on the wallet, you’ll also be pleasantly surprised by the quality and variety of food. Expect a respectable line-up of dishes from braised items, veggies, fish and eggs!

#4 Spice Brasserie
Apologies to Teochew porridge purists, but it’s only right if we include an option that will satisfy both fans and non-fans of porridge buffets! Spice Brasserie’s Asian buffet isn’t purely a porridge buffet, it’s more of a normal buffet with a decent-sized Teochew porridge counter featuring 12 dishes. You also get the regular standard buffet fare like seafood, live stations, desserts and more. Now everyone can have a satisfying buffet meal together with minimal complaints!
