Also known as braised pig trotters, this dish is a beloved staple in Korea, known for its rich flavours and tender texture. The dish is typically enjoyed with a variety of accompaniments and side dishes known as banchan.

At Jang San, the Signature Set is a popular choice, featuring a medium-sized Jokbal, and you can take your pick from Original, Garlic and Spicy flavours. For larger groups, there is also an option to upgrade to a larger set! The Jokbal is served on a traditional metallic tray along with a generous selection of banchan. These small side dishes are an integral part of the meal, offering a variety of flavours and textures that balance the richness of the Jokbal. Expect familiar favourites such as kimchi, pickled radish, seasoned spinach and more.

There are several ways to enjoy jokbal, such as wrapping pieces of the tender meat in lettuce leaves, adding raw garlic and a dollop of spicy sauce for an explosion of flavours.

They are also often paired with spicy cold buckwheat noodles known as Mak Guksu. Jang San’s version truly allow the spicy and tangy seasoning to shine through, and pairing the tender Jokbal with these noodles creates a delightful contrast.

The restaurant also serves a variety of other dishes such as Seafood Pancake, which is fried perfectly crispy and served with a generous amount of prawns and clams.
